2006 Siena Rugby Alumni Scholarship Update

Siena Rugby Alumni and Friends,

Thank you for your generosity and your commitment to Siena College, the rugby program, and the memories of Terry and Michael. Our scholarship is currently up to $117,000 and we have pledges pending that will get us up to $136,000 very shortly! We've received contributions from 194 individuals who have provided some 306 donations in pursuit of our goal. Once we reach the $136,000 mark, the scholarship fund will provide approximately $7,000 per year to be shared between two worthy recipients. We have been providing financial support over the last four years and have witnessed and supported some great stories of personal triumph. The funds have helped individuals who may not have been able to continue their education due to financial hardship remain at Siena and receive their degrees. There is no greater reward than having a positive effect on someone's life!

We are grateful that we've all been blessed with the ability to give back to a College and a program that has helped to shape who we are as individuals. This scholarship will live on long after we are gone and will continue to memorialize not only our fallen friends, but also a fraternity that has bound us together for a lifetime.
