September 2006 Update

Siena Rugby Alumni, Friends, and Family,

As we approach the 5-year anniversary on September 11th, we would like to provide you with some information a very special tribute in memory of Terence McShane – please see the attached flyer for information and visit the website at www.terencemcshane.org for more information. Feel free to pass this information on to those who you feel would be interested.

Please take the time out to remember Siena Rugby Alumni Terence McShane ('86) and Mike Taddonio ('84) and their families over the next couple of weeks.

The Alumni Sports Weekend has been cancelled this year due to the construction of an artificial turf field this fall. Construction will occupy most of the playing fields making it difficult to schedule a weekend of games at that time. Discussions are ongoing as to whether we pull off the Rugby Alumni Snowbowl, traditionally held on the first weekend of December. We will get back to you soon if we think we can make this happen.

In the meantime, remember to support the current Siena Men’s and Woman’s Rugby Clubs if you are in the area – their fall schedules have been posted on our website at www.sienarugbyalumni.com.
